I had the pleasure of meeting Hiroyoshi about a year ago when he came to Time Machine looking for a bike messenger job. He's a real humble person, from Japan, with ambition to work. He rides a klassik Shwinn Paramount road bike. He soon became a Registered Process Server, which expanded his area. I was amazed to him one day rolling up with his bicycle strapped to his motorcycle. Talk about a Messenger Style! Watch out, he might serve you if you catch a case.

DTLA GPX 20X - Crit Race #4 - Results
As we all know by now, TonyZ took 1st place for Crit Race #4 (Road Bike Category).
And Hernian took 1st place for Crit Race #4 (Fixed Gear Category).
We had a huge turn out for the fixed gear category (17 racers). The road category was not as big, but just as exciting to watch.
TonyZ kept his cool, always on the draft (this time staying right behind Dany). But no surprise, TonyZ exploded at the Finish Line Sprint.
The Fixed Gear category had their own 3 man Finish Line Sprint. This one was real close, as I thought Rylo was going to take out Hernan, but Hern is pretty strong, as always.
As always, full set of pics are hosted on our FaceBook. Peep em' out.
Remember, this coming Thursday we come to the end of this Years DTLA Grand Prix Summer Series. Make sure not to miss out this week's Crit (The MONSTER of Echo Park). We're gonna shake things up a bit, just to make things a lil bit more exciting. Again, Thank You ALL Racers, Spectators, Fans and Event Supporters, Big Jungle & Animal for the pace laps and of course we can't forget our Boi PORK for holding down L.A. Traffik with style!

To All Racers, this Thursday race will be held at the Beautiful Echo Parke Lake. We have only raced the lake twice before (2007 All Messenger Race "Echo Park Lake MONSTER" & 2009 All Ladies Race "LAP DANCE"). This year we have again change the name of the course because the style/amount of racing will be different compared to previous years. The course is tight and dangerous so we're going to split the amount of racers into groups. Eventually we will end up with one group (group will consist of winners of initial group races). Races will begin immediately, one after another. Before the final race, final competing racers will have a fair amount of time to rest and drink a red bull or beer, which ever you prefer.
Spectators, please continue to come out. This will be our final Crit for the Summer. We will have a great view from Start/Finish Line (NASCAR Style). I have a feeling, we'll be seeing another great sprint finish.
If LAPigD do happen to show up, please let's be courteous and maintain order!
Keep your beers in paper bags!

From TOLA:
You have been warned. Stay tuned for Sponsor highlights as the date gets closer. I will say this, if you raced the Chubby Boob Summer Games, this past Sunday you know half the course, but it's a lot more then that.

To All Racers and Spectators, this Thursday we'll be going back to Downtown LA to continue with the tradition of the DTLA Grand Prix Summer Series. We haven't held any races this summer in Downtown because of the heavy police presence and past conflict with them. So if all goes well, the Dewap Loop, will be our next race this Thursday. If LAPigD do happen to show up, please let's be courteous and maintain order so that we can relocate to "Plan B" Keep your beers in paper bags!
DTLA GPX 20X - Crit Race #3 - Results
Sorry for the delay on the update of Crit Race#3. It was a long and hott weekend. Many events going on, including the Epic Chubby Boob Summer Games. Well, we all know by now that JTR took both First Place in Fixed and Road Category. He incredibly showed up on his Road Bike with his Track bike strapped to his back (What an Animal). I believe we had a total of 20 Fixed Gears and 5 Roadies. There were a number of flats due to the terrain, but we all know that's part of the game. Stay tuned for this weeks Crit Race #4 which will take place in beautiful DTLA. Once again, congrats to JTR for supporting DTLA and of course all racers, spectators, hecklers and specially the youth. The youth came out in big numbers for this one. Don't worry, we have something cooking just for you guys. Full set of pics are always posted on our Facebook....enjoy the them and see you this Thursday at the DEWAP!
